Fantastic day

We were picked up on time by our friendly guide, Sarat, and our driver Mr Channa. Sarat was very knowledgeable and he explained everything to us as we walked around Angkor Wat and the other temples. It was a very hot day but our driver made sure we had lots of water and the aircon in the van was going. We learnt lots about each site we visited and had a really enjoyable time. We found it beneficial to have a guide rather than just walking around as he was able to explain things to us in detail. This is a worthwhile tour.

Wow the sun rise!

I was absolutely gob smacked with the sunrise at Angkor Wat! As night turned to day I thought it was beautiful watching the temple slowly appear. Thinking that was it I was quite satisfied. Then all of a sudden the sun, huge and amazing appeared. It was without a doubt the best sun rise I had ever seen. The temples were interesting but our trip was rushed, I hope to explore it more one day.

Amazing trip with excellent tour guide

The tour guide picked me up at my hotel on time at 4:30am.Before he arrived I was worrying if they didn't manage the time that let me miss the timing to see the sunrise. The tour guide took us (4 people in our group) to buy the ticket for that day due to some didn't buy day-pass before the tour. I couldn't believe that the ticket office still open at 4:30am.The sunrise was awesome! It's the best sunrise I've ever seen. We was seeing it at the outside of Angkor Wat.After seeing sunrise, the tour guide decided to take us to Angkor town instead of walking in to the Angkor Wat. He said that because lots of people visiting Angkor Wat after seeing the sunrise. If we also going into, then it would be hard to take great photos. He was looking after us very carefully. He also knew where and how we can take great photos. Thanks my tour guide Sarat for giving me a fabulous Angkor Sunrise trip.

Amazing tour with knowledgeable guide

Angkor Wat is an amazing place brought to life by our tour guide, Mr Phearom. He had a deep knowledge of Cambodian history, all explained in perfect English. He conducted us to the best locations and we took many photos. As well as Angkor Wat , we visited other fascinating sites including Angkor Thom, with its wonderful causeway and South Gate, Bayon Temple, with its many images of heads facing in all directions, and Ta Prohm, with its ruins taken over by massive tree roots. We were conducted to a local restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent lunch. All in all, wonderful tour - Thank you!

Amazing trip with excellent tour guide

The trip was amazing and excellent conduct by Mr Phearom, he is the best tour guide with excellent english, knowledgeable about history of Combodia and share the stories every each of the temple's. Angkor Wat and Ta Promh is one of my bucket list and its more memorable with the history and stories told by Mr Phearom make my trip unforgettable because i love art history culture and he fullfill my need with his tour. And help me to take photos with very nice spot and know exactly how to take picture. He basicly love his country so much that shown in his attitude behavior the he speak. He told me not to give tips to the childs because wanted them to go to school because money will encourage the kids not to go to school. The trips is amazing..i strongly suggested this tour especially with Mr Phearom. Thanks for making my trips memorable.

Wow this is a must tour to do if you...

Wow this is a must tour to do if you are going to Siem Reap which I guess if you are reading this review then you are at least thinking of going. We were picked up from our hotel at 0420 and then went on to pick up another couple before preceding to the ticket office. It costs 37 per each adult for a one day pass. Our tour guide Mr Srun Sarat was brilliant, his english was perfect and being an official Angkor Wat tour guide he knew the exact place for us to catch the sunrise which was awesome. The tour takes in Bayon Temple, the fortified city of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat. All of them are worth the entrance fee alone never mind seeing all three in one day. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and thought our guide was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. A great tour thank you Viator.

Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour

Our sunrise tour began when we were picked up at 0420 from our hotel. We then picked another couple up and headed to Angkor Wat to buy our tickets to enter the Temples cost for one day pass $37 per adult. We then headed to Angkor Wat and waited for the sun to rise at 0645 which was amazing. Our guide Mr Sarat Srun then took us to the Bayon Temple, the fortified city of Angkor Thom and the onto Angkor Wat. Our guide Sarat was extremely knowledgeable and had great English which meant we got the most out of our tour. His driver Mr Oeun was also very pleasant and was always on time to pick us up and supplied us all day with an air conditioned car and cold water. Private tour to accommodate my own itinerary

My first trip with Green Era Travel was the group tour for Sunrise at Angkor Wat. Our guide, Sothea, was very energetic and had lots of knowledge on the temples, as well as good ideas for photos. I thought the price was very reasonable. However, be aware there can be some variation in prices, which the company explained has to do with high bank charges in Cambodia for online/credit card use. I enjoyed my trip so much that I wanted to book with them again. No companies seemed to include a visit to the Angkor Center for Conservation of Biodiversity (which is a great wildlife rescue/rehab worth visiting a supporting!). Green Era Travel set up a private day tour for me to include the ACCB as well as several other sites I wanted to see--a hike up Phnom Kulen to see the 1000 Lingas, Bantay Srei, the Landmine Museum (also worth a visit!), Bantay Samrei, and Pre Rup for sunset. I was impressed at how much we were able to get done in one day--so the splurge on a private tour was still a good deal. What really made it great was the guide, Van Lonh. He was so easy to talk to, not only about the sites visited, but about what it was like growing up in Cambodia. He has plenty of good jokes, and likes a good political discussion! I highly recommend him as a guide.Sticking with this reliable company--I'm doing the Tonle Sap tour tomorrow. Also be aware that it is very difficult to find the office, which is in a residential area. You're best bet is to call or email with questions.

I felt I learnt a lot from the tour.He also was very helpful in finding the group the best place to get a picture and helped with taking them. The driver was really good too and helped people to and from the car offering water etc.I would definitely recommend this tour!
