Itinerary

Meet a driver at your hotel in Siem Reap for the scenic, 2-hour trip to Phnom Kulen Mountain, passing a landscape of tropical forest and rural communities in your air-conditioned vehicle.

The first stop of the day is a hilltop temple, where you’ll find a massive reclining Buddha carved directly into a sandstone boulder. Next, head to the River of a Thousand Lingas, exploring a riverbank adorned with ancient carvings of phalluses and Hindu gods.

Cool off at another sacred site, Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, which tumble into a wide basin that’s ideal for a midday swim or wade. Throughout the day, the guide will help bring the ancient sites to life by explaining their significance and symbolism, and you’ll have time to purchase lunch at a local restaurant before the return trip to Siem Reap.

Kulen waterfall area was a great addition to our Angkor adventure.

Our guide Nak recommended seeing the Kulen area and it did not disappoint! The waterfall was very powerful and had some pretty scenery and cliffs around it. Our driver Sokkhen took a great photo of us on the cliff. We saw a rainbow too! Both spoke amazing English! It was a great addition to the temple area tour of Angkor. We recommend it if you have 3 or more days in Siem Reap.

Sublime and unforgettable experience

Nak was an amazing guide. He’s passionate about sharing and ensuring you get to fully experience Cambodia. He is very interactive with both his guests and his community. He is able to provide so much insight to the religious aspect with his history as a monk and is very knowledgeable about the history of his community. He truly goes out his way to ensure you have an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone traveling Cambodia!

Amazing tour!

5 stars!!! Nak our guide was outstanding. He took us to the best vantage points & took great photos of us. He is very knowledgeable and explained the history & culture so well at each place. He took us to the waterfall early so we had no tourists. He was ever so friendly and I highly recommend booking with him. Each visit he allowed us to go at our own pace. He would stop with locals and give us different fruits, beetles & food to try. We even joined in a family picnic & had a beer. No extra money. Our driver Channa was very skilful. We had cool water & cold aircon. We had the opportunity to stop for breaks all the way along. The highlight was the reclining Buddha, the beautiful waterfalls & the 1000 Linga river carvings. We thank you both so much for a fantastic tour. The Cambodian people are so very gentle & serene. We will be returning.Blessings to you & your family.

Raa erzählte uns an jedem Sightseen Punkt was zur Geschichte.

Our guide Sin was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He catered the tour to what we wanted to get out of it. We went on anlittle impromptu hike through the jungle which was fun and the waterfall was beautiful. the drive was comfortable (cold ac) and they provided cold waters for us. Would highly recommend!

Kulen waterfalls & 1000 Linga river tour.

Beautiful, ancient history. Driver was a very smooth and cool driver, very quick and helpful while getting on and off the vehicle. Our tour guide Mr. Phy was so cool. He explained everything so well before and while visiting places . Helped us taking pictures. Held our hands while getting off and on the vehicle. He ran to help the elderlies in our group. Told us where we could have our vegetarian meals. I saw him helping others with his medicine, when someone else had a fall. He carried first aid with him. Very gentle man . I can recommend both the driver and the guide anytime.
