Itinerary

Meet your driver at your Siem Reap hotel, then ride in an air-conditioned vehicle to Angkor Archaeological Site. Purchase an admission ticket before continuing to Banteay Srei, often called the “Citadel of Women.” Here, you’ll see a series of three central towers carved from pink sandstone that have remarkable craftsmanship and detail.

Next, continue back to the main part of Angkor Archaeological Site, pausing in the village of Preah Dak along the way to browse handicrafts made by locals. After a break for lunch (own expense), head to Eastern Mebon, a temple built in the heart of the Eastern Baray, once an artificial lake. Mr Nak Chum made the trip memorable

We were two families who together took the Siem Reap tour spread over 5 days. We had Mr Chum Nak as the local English speaking guide with us. He was fantastic, enthusiastic, caring and very knowledgeable. He made the entire trip enjoyable and memorable. He went out of the way to explain and answer every question we had. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Informative trip with Mr Nak

Excellent trip, Mr Nak was perfect as a guide, extremely knowledgeable, but also patient while answering all our questions. Would not have been the same experience without him. Highly recommended.

A must-do when visiting Cambodia!

This was the 2nd day of the tour to the Angkor Archeological City...the amazing 8-hours tour totally exceeded my expectations! I absolutely enjoyed it, the 6 temples that this tour includes are dazzling! Particularly East Mebon, Neak Pean, and Pre Rup temples are really mesmerizing (totally my favs). San was my tour guide, and I strongly recommend him! He's not only a fun history wonk (who knows every detail about Angkor temples and Cambodian history), but also an excellent photographer! He knows all the tricks to take full advantage of your iPhone or camera and will take the best pictures for you! San was also very kind to take many pictures from his own cell phone and sent them to me via WhatsApp when my iPhone just ran out of data! My tour also included an optional stop at the Cambodia Landmine Museum and it's worth the visit (Thank you for this free add-on San!)

Siem Reap Temples

The trips in Siem Reap is excellent. Our tour guide Sans took us to 8 temples in two days. I have learned so much in those 2 days. It was also a great exercise!

Memorable tour of other temples than Angkor Wat fro Siam Reap

Amazing tour and the best tour guide we have ever had. Voath Vinh was very knowledgeable, informative and accomodating. He was able to explain the history of Cambodia, the temples and inscriptions in details without being overwhelming. Very pleasant ride in a clean, air conditioned car with cold bottled water available at all times. As a group of 2 we had plenty of time to explore at our own pace, mingle with locals and take photos at any point and place we requested. Extremely professional and friendly both the guide and driver. Thanks Green Era Travel, you made us leave Siem Reap with great impressions and memories.

A Must Do Excursion!

Everyone comes here to see Angkor Wat and therefore books the full day excursion to visit Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider I) temples. We did, and loved them! Reading some reviews, I stumbled across the full-day Banteay Srei, Preah Dak Tour and I am so glad I did! San, our tour guide, without a doubt is knowledgeable not only about the temples, history, methods of construction and Cambodia but what shone beyond his vast knowledge was his passion for this wonderful heritage. A remarkable tour made even more so because of San. Our driver, Kane, was curtious, prompt and manoeuvred us safely on the bouncy out-of-city roads. The mid-point lunch was super and very reasonable. But the highlight of our stay in Siem Reap was Banteay Srei ... yes, for us it is even more spectacular than Bayon! We were lucky today, a bonus ... this is not such a known visit therefore less crowded, better photo opportunities, and a smaller group ratio. My recommendation, buy a 3-day pass to the complex and book this tour ... ask for San as your guide. I promise you won't be disappointed.
