Day 1 - Siem Reap - Angkor
You can arrive anytime at the hotel during the morning before the group meeting at Noon followed by a welcome lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the complex of Angkor Wat, the largest and most impressive of all the temples. Its layout and its scale are simply breathtaking, the wall surrounding the enclosure measures 1,000 by 800 meters. This amazing temple homes the longest continuous bas relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls. Afterward, we will climb up to the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng, to meet the crowd for a truly memorable sunset (if weather permitting).

Day 2 - Siem Reap - Angkor
After breakfast, we will visit Handicap International, an NGO (non governmental organization) which provides a range of support activities to disabled people, many of whom are victims of leftover weapons. Afternoon, we will visit the amazing temple of Ta Prohm, a monastery largely consumed by the jungle. Then we will go to visit the exhibition about Tonle Sap Lake located on the school for blind children directed by the NGO Krousar Thmey. This place is close to the Jayavarman VII Children’s hospital, a state-of-the-art hospital which provides free medical care to children. Like every hospital in Cambodia, the medical staff is always in need of blood to save lives. We will be able to stop there for the ones who would like to give blood. Explore Siem Reap city tour

Day 3 - Siem Reap - Angkor
This morning explore the ancient temple tour, we will drive 50 km north of town, through the countryside, to The Angkor Center for Conservation Biodiversity, at Kbal Spean mountain side. Then, we will visit Phnom Kbal Spean. After a 30 mins walk in the forest, we will arrive at Sahasralina, the River of a Thousand Lingas. The remarkable 11th-century riverbed rock carvings display a gallery of gods and celestials. We will have lunch at Borey Sovann Kbal Spean, a nice restaurant set at the base of jungled mountains. After lunch, we will drive to Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of women - decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities, carved from pink sandstone. On the way back, we will stop at the Cambodian Landmine museum and Rehabilitation Centre which promotes mine awareness and education to people. Return to town

Day 4 - Siem Reap - Angkor
After breakfast, we will head out west of Siem Reap, toward Puok village. We will drive through the countryside and cross villages before we reach the Sangkheum Center for Children, an NGO which provides a home for orphaned, abused or neglected children, as well as a general education and selected vocational training. We will visit the centre of the children training in the workshops, either agricultural farming. Then we will go for lunch at le Jardin des Délices (the Paul Dubrule Training Restaurant) where students of the Paul Dubrule School of Hotel and Tourism will gain valuable experience through serving you. Following lunch, we will join a guided tour of the school and its facilities, accompanied by a teacher or the director. Afternoon, we will explore the complex of Angkor Thom include South Gate, famous Bayon, a pyramid temple. We will also visit the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5 - Siem Reap - Angkor & Kompong Phluk
In the morning explore Kampong Phluk Tour, we will drive 15 km southeast of Siem Reap to the temples of the Roluos group, the first major capital of the Angkor era. Then we will go to the fishermen’s village of Kompong Phluk. As we will arrive at the village at about Noon, we will enjoy a nice lunch cooked local fish, shrimps and vegetables prepared by the local family. Then, we will visit the village, the pagoda on the only butte (the only building which is not on stilts) and see the activities of the villagers before doing a traditional boat ride. Small canoes, paddle by villagers, will take you deep into the dense flooded forest. Over night and dinner at homestay. enjoy Kampong Phluk homestay

Day 6 - Siem Reap - Angkor & Tonle Sap Lake
After breakfast, we will spend some more time in the village to learn more about the daily life in rural Cambodia and to take advantage of the morning light for picturesque photos. Then, we will leave by boat which takes us onto the Tonle Sap Lake, passing through the floating village of Chong Khneas to the boat dock, south of Siem Reap. Chong Khneas consists of some permanents buildings but is a largely floating settlement. We will pass along the floating houses, school, and sport hall. Afternoon, we will visit some more temples of the Angkor complex. We will first stop at the temple of Prasat Kravan which contains some remarkable brick bas-reliefs. Then, we will visit Banteay Kdei and the opposite Srah Srang Royal Bath. Our last stop will be the pyramid temple of Pre Rup which offers a brilliant panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and good spot to enjoy the sunset. Tonight, we will enjoy our farewell dinner at a traditional dancing show at the local restaurant. learn experience local lifestyle at Tonle sap.
