This trip was very enjoyable. The guide was informative. Selling items on the lake was uncomfortable. Not only was a can of pop 2 but they wanted me to buy something for the lady who was paddling us around. That's pressure. I did not appreciate that. I would discourage this type of sale tactic.

Very good tour!! Must See

The tour guide was very informative and helpful. They picked us up at the hotel. The tour was half day, but you can see a lot in half day. The tour does not include a boat that goes through Mangrove so you will need to pay $10 for a boat. It is worth doing. But the village people will make you buy more stuff during the boat tour, so unless you pay some money, the boat does not go forward. That was the only thing I didn't like about.

Recommend If You need a break from temple hopping

I did a half day morning tour with Sam? (Sang? Sorry I can't remember his name). Booking process was easy - The instructions said to be in hotel lobby from 7:30 - 8:30. I got picked up at 8:10 and he apologized because the other customers hotel was far. I didn't mind since he was still technically on time. My group had just another family of 3 and then myself (4 total - so fairly small group). Our tourguide was great. He spoke English very well and gave us fun facts about the town on the way to the lake. We drove the van through a small village to the lake. To be honest, the lake itself isn't THAT impressive in terms of view. BUT the floating village was cool to see. It's an extra $5 to row through the mangroves - THIS IS A MUST. This experience really made the whole trip worth it. Riding the row boat was amazing because you get so close to the village and the mangroves was something I've never seen before.

Angkor Wat Tour

We highly recommend this tour. The tour guide spoke English very well. The chauffeur drove us around and we walked through the temples. The guide knew a lot about the temples and told us a lot about Cambodia as well. The trip was well organized and the restaurant they took us to for lunch was great!

Kampong Phluk Tour with Phearom

Mr Phearom was a really good tour guide. He told us a lot about the country and the people who live in it. We did the tour to the Tonle Sap Lake. The scenery and nature was beautiful. I would definetely recommend this tour to everyone.

Small group Tour - Angkor day tour - Phearom

Picked up on time, and after a little while finding our other tour guests, we were off to the Temples. Phearom has an amazing knowledge of Khmer/Cambodian history and was providing interesting facts and figures on the drive to the Temples. He is so friendly and welcoming, with a smile on his face all day. The Temple tours were fantastic with Phearom constantly advising us of interesting information and offering to take pictures for everyone. We had lunch at a local restaurant with great food and beer! Back to the Temples and even a little rain did not stop Phearom enthusiasm. The Tour was wonderful, informative and very well organized. Many thanks to Phearom for making this a great day
