Itinerary

After pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the comfort of an air-conditioned minivan. Once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets (not included), set out on a guided tour of the ancient temples.

Start by marveling at the much-photographed temple of Angkor Wat and hear the fascinating history of the Khmer Empire as you follow your guide around the impressively preserved ruins. Continue to the walled temple complex of Angkor Thom, pass through the grand South Gate, and visit architectural highlights including Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of Leper King. After breaking for lunch (own expense), admire the overgrown ruins of Ta Phrom and discover why it’s nicknamed the “Jungle Temple.”
Your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel.

Small group tour Angkor Wat

Thank you Hok San for a great day out at Angkor Wat.Hok San was an excellent guide. He gave us so much information about Angkor Wat . He was interesting and funny and considerate to all who were on the trip. Its a magical place. Hok San gave us lots of photo opportunities that we would not have discovered ourselves. He also took photos of us on our own cameras. The coach was really comfy and clean and cool and also the driver ( so sorry i have forgotten his name), was really great too.

Angkor Wat Small Group Tour

Joined the small group tour with Green Era Travel with four other travelers. The price was comparable to hiring a tuktuk, the big difference is having a guide to explain historical information and details which I would have overlooked otherwise. Our guide, Hok San was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and speaks good English. I would have stayed a little bit more at each stop to take photographs, but I still think that we were never rushed to take in all incredible sights and understand the history. He also made sure to make the tour as personal as possible as he treated us more like a friend rather than just another client.

Small Group Tour of Angkor

Our group of five was guided by San it was great. It is a very informative tour about 8h with a lunch stop. San speaks well English and is very friendly and passionate about his job. He was also ready to answer every question and advice us on other activities. San took us to some great photography spots and also ensured we avoid masses of tourists. As it's began to rain he quickly provided us with umbrellas plus bottled water was available throughout the trip. Lunch was delicious but as expected for a restaurant inside the Angkor Complex (and as students) a bit pricy. All in all we can only recommend this tour especially because of its fair price and dedicated guide.

The Best Angkor Wat Tours

The driver and our tour guide (Chet Chin) are very accommodating and caring for us. Chet make sure that all important details/history of temples, Cambodian government and its people were discussed to us during the tour. He is a very good photographer too and he knows where are the best spots to take photos. He make sure also that we are properly hydrated. I highly recommended Chet to be your tour guide once you visited Siem Reap. (Price is so cheap too)

Excellent storyteller and travel guide!

Our travel to Siem Reap was worth it because of Vichet as our tour guide and Borey as our driver. They started the tour by picking us at the hotel. They speak good English so it is easy to communicate. I also noticed that the other guides can speak other languages. Vichet knows the history and story of each temple and plus, he knows where should we pose for our pictures! I highly recommend you to book Vichet on your next tour!

The tour was value for money where we visited 3 temples (Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm). However the tour guide did not bring us to Phnom Bakheng for sunset view though it was written in the tour description. He was also very forceful in getting us to write him a review on TripAdvisor! :(

Great tour with a great guide

My friend and I joined the Green Era tour of the Angkor temples with guide Hok San. Hok San was knowledgeable and very friendly, making the tour interesting and informative, and he knew all the best photo spots away from the crowds. The driver was really nice too and always ready and waiting to take us from place to place. The lunch stop was clean and bright with attentive staff and the food was excellent - I recommend the Cambodian chicken curry.
