Itinerary

Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, we will meet you at either Sihanoukville Port Gate 1 or the Independence Monument, depending on your cruise’s drop-off location. Please take the complimentary shuttle bus from your cruise ship to the designated meeting point.

Your tour begins at the Independence Monument, built in 1985 to honor Cambodia’s independence and fallen heroes. Featuring a traditional Khmer lotus-shaped stupa, it stands as a symbol of national pride. Next, visit Tomnub Rolork - Koh Preap Pier, a bustling fishing port that provides insight into the local way of live and economy.

Continue to Phsar Leu Market, Sihanoukville’s vibrant marketplace, where you can experience daily life and shop for fresh produce, seafood, and traditional crafts. Then, explore Wat Krom Pagoda, a serene hilltop Buddhist temple offering panoramic views of Sihanoukville City and the Gulf of Thailand and home to a large reclining Buddha.

Drive past the iconic Golden Lions Roundabout before stopping at the Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak, a 27-meter-tall monument honoring the legendary founders of the Khmer people.

End your tour with a visit to Otres Beach, where you can unwind, enjoy the tropical breeze, or have a coffee break at your own expense. Finally, we will drop you off at your shuttle bus station for your return to the cruise ship. End of service.

Perfect Tour of the Sihanoukville Area

Mr. Chhum and Mr. Hun made this experience of Sihanoukville memorable. I wanted to show my mother the big draws to Sihanoukville. Mr Chhum’s enthusiasm and knowledge only enhanced how beautiful the area and how rich the history is here. We learned so much from him including great facts about the local flora and fauna. He was personable, funny, and well-spoken. The tour itself gives a great highlight reel of the city in one big circle. We visited two temples, the Kbal Chhay waterfall, two beaches, the Independence monument, and the local Psar Leu market. We even saw the waterfall during the dry season and it was still worth the trip. It was the much-needed cherry on top of my mother’s visit to Cambodia.

Day visit of Sihanoukville

We had a day in this city. Our driver and tour guide were really friendly and took us to the most remote beaches where we spent time enjoying the beautiful white sandy beach in Prang Trang. We also visited the fishing village. Sadly the city itself was a place we would rather not visited as it was a huge building site invaded by the Chinese and so much dust and dirt that we would sincerely advise visitors to avoid going - at least for the next 5 years... but you must visit instead the shores and the beaches and islands in the Golf of Thailand ....true beauty!!

Be prepared

The tour was interesting and a reality check.. We visited the Ngean Pagoda with many beautiful Buddahs. The Market where we negotiated crazy traffic. Here you saw local food, Taylor's , jewellery and souvenirs . On to the fishing village, truly third world. With no organised garbage collection rubbish piled up where ever. The harbour was a floating refuse dump of polystyrene and plastic bottles. The people were friendly but they appear to have so little. The foundations seem to be there but it will take time. Maybe the profits from the casinos could go a long way to turn this area into a paradise
